it would be nice if the republicans would be the democrats so easily that we could waste our votes on libertarians so they can get some exposure. as it stands it is so close we have to vote republican to foil the democrats.

the republican party is still far too in favor of government controls and of course is way too tied to god-worshipping idiots. but for now i stick with them.

the latest thing that drives me crazy is when i think of how candidates get federal money to finance their campaigns. i have pay motherf'ing taxes so these monkeys can try to convince me to vote for them? so ridiculous. my taxes should go to wars and streets and cops, and i am paying for campaigns? how this doesnt infuriate everyone is beyond me. both parties are terrible. we accept socialism with a smile on our face.

I read your coment earlier and started to reply, but figured it wasn't worth my time. But since you are still being a smart-ass about it, I might as well.

There really is no need to fall in line and worship anything, just show a little respect to other people out there. No point being an ******* when it comes someone's religious preferences. I personally don't care what you worship or if you worship anything at all, but I'm not going call you an idiot regardless of your choice, so you should extend the same respect to myself and others.

ok fine i respect your religion the same as crystal ball readers and militant islam and tarot cards and wiccan. i respect them all. i mean, some people really believe god told them to be terrorists, and there is no point in "being an ******* when it comes someone's religious preferences".

i have opinions. so do you. this is free speech alley.

and the "god worshipping idiots" i was talking about, they were not you, i was referring to some other guys.

you condemn socialism and moan about free speech yet you down people's religious beliefs. isn't that a contradiction? don't piss in your pants, martin. i really only called you an ******* because you're a mets fan.

a contradiction? hmm, i dont understand how it is.

i like to say my opinions on how stupid i think religion is, but for whatever reason people are pretty defensive about their particular superstitions. you can call out any religion as long as it isnt the one their parents taught them. that one is true! when i am really honest i admit that is hard for me to have respect for people who are religious. i can respect them, but it is difficult, because they believe such silly fairy tales.

but religious zealots do not stop me from being republican. if i was a democrat i might have similar complaint about a part of the party i didnt like, maybe idiot wacky environmentalists.

libertarians are like better republicans because they really stand for freedom, whereas republicans will oppose freedom on moral/religious grounds on occasion. that is a problem with republicans. just my opinion.

probably deserve it. everyone knows the mets are just the a bizarro wannabe loser version of the yankees.

You are right, most people only consider their religion THE religion. I do too, but I don't hold it against anyone who believes differentlty from me, as long as they aren't trying to blow me up.

What I meant was you are quick to defend freedom of speech and are also quick to criticize how someone exercises their freedom of religion. We are guaranteed both, yet both are being taken away. The first step in instituting socialism is to take away the people's God and guns. You remove their hope, social consciousness, and ability to defend themselves and there isn't much left (except a country full of socialists, or democrats - whatever you want to call them).

i dont hold it against them any more than i hold any stupidity against anyone. i mean, it depends on what you mean by "hold it against" . if you claim you believe crystal balls, i guess thats your thing and it is fine with me. however, i would prefer you do not teach that to my children or make them pledge to your god.

or if you want to remember your stupid sabbath and keep it holy, that is fine by me, but why does that mean i cant buy alcohol on sunday? why does your religion keep me from exchanging money for goods with other citizens? go to hell, dictate your rules to yourself, not me. thats my opinion. you dont wanna buy beer, dont. dont stop me.

not if it doesnt affect me. my problem with the republican party is they allow their religion to dictate their morals to me. for example president bush and his faith based initiatives. why do i want my tax money given to faith based groups? to me the word faith translates as "irrational stupidity and mindlessness to an extent i struggle to accurately describe". why not just give money to the astrologists? they have faith. the president is giving a billion dollars to social groups run by religious groups. why is he taking my cash to give to anti-science morons? why do i work so that people who refuse to live in reality can do their social programs?

why is he taking my money to do research on disease, while using the commands of his dumbass wizard to restrict those funds from research on new stem cells? if you are going to take my money by force ( and that is what taxes are) then dont apply your stupid sorcery ideas to it please.

dont mistake my opinions as having a problem with your freedom of religion. you can be a monkey. my religion is that i have none. my religion is that i see no reason to be an idiot, to delude myself, let me practice it.

So you are saying you find it difficult to respect people who have found purpose and meaning to their life? I guess that makes since if you havent found those.
