Off to a slow start this year just can't quit get on a good bite of legal fish. Gettin plenty fair enough messes just not puttin much in the freezer they gettin ate up to fast. Fished about 2.5 hours yesterday morning with more of the same story...lots of short trout with a dozen legal ones. Kept a fair mess of 25 white trout to but could have filled the box with them just no time to clean that many this weekend with all the family festivities.
You must have caught em all in Mississippi. If you want to make a drive I hear the big ones are biting in Lake Ponchartrain.
