wow. that guy has been amazing picking their games this year. i think they win by a lot. i think we play very flat, because of the coaching situation and because this is such a downer to a team that won THE NC last year. the psychology will be completely the opposite of the last time this happened after DiNardo was canned and we came out fired up, loose, and focused. i pray i am wrong
I think the Oregon rain has you depressed... we won't come out flat... we may lose but it wont be because we come out emotionless.
i do live in oregon, and it does rain, but do you really think that is why i'm depressed? we don't do well against good passing qbs (Anderson, Greene. plus it seems like all our wins this year have come against teams without good passing qbs--except florida) you can't tell how randall will play there's a good bet someone (or two or three) will make a bonehead play (green and xc are the prime candidates) turnovers are likely (although better later) how do you predict how our running game will match up with good defenses? --against bama we were impressive, but that was closer than the score indicated
Look how LSU played against good QB's - Campbell, close game - Greene, played a perfect game - Anderson, first game of season with young team - Matt Jones, shut him down. I believe Iowa will dominate us in the first half, but in the second we will wake up and dominate like we did all season. If Randall comes out like he did against Arkansas then I will never worry about this game.
Yep we played well against Campbell. But Jones is a horrible qb when gimpy. The other two (Greene and Anderson) are just lame excuses that losers make. So were played poorly against two of the three decent passing qbs--thats a reason for pessimism. Maybe our LBs will step up and play well. That will go a long way to making Tate look bad. With all the hype he's getting, I hope he throws five picks. BTW that hope about randall playing like last game is foolish. he might do it, but i wouldnt put a sawbuck down on his performance.
