This is exactly what I think about it. I don't think the route called for Landry to be on the 2 or 3 yard line when the ball arrived. It was a quick throw to the endzone, and if Landry had been IN the endzone, he should have had a TD.
Assuming you're talking about the one to Landry, it was a slant and go route. Landry did the slant part right, but then he didn't 'go'. That incompletion is 100% on him. Hell, he tried to 'go' backwards and fell on his arse.
Uh, perhaps I drink too much, who cares, dude, really? I just watched the second half again and KH was straight up punishing dudes. I remember during the game when he got loose and just dropped his shoulder and ran right over an sc defender I backed it up so one of my sons friends could see it. He was asking what I was laughing at. Hilliard is a monster, I think you are off a little here. Just sayin...
Yeah, when I watched it again, I was more impressed w/his runs. For some reason, I didn't think he did as good as he did. I guess w/JHill's success and a few runs where Hilliard was stuffed overshadowed his successful runs for me. Anyway, agree w/you, KH is a beast! Still think if he were a little slimmer, he would have even more burst/success.
He got too cute at the goal line and tried to back into the endzone when he clearly could have just lowered the boom and burst through. Instead, he was stood up and iced on the spot. Cost us four points and a good chunk of mo. That said, he was solid most of the rest of the night.
