Sorry if posted. As a past Heisman winner, former USC QB Carson Palmer gets a Heisman vote. Credibility, anyone? Wow... LA Times: Palmer's Agenda Isn't Hidden So how objective are Heisman Trophy voters? Carson Palmer, who votes because he won the award in 2002 for USC, told Petros Papadakis on KMPC Tuesday that he voted for the Trojans' Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush and Dwayne Jarrett. Why Jarrett, a freshman receiver? "I didn't want to give Jason White any votes," Palmer said.
What a POS. He is doing piss poor this year and I could not be happier. Do not let his one good game against the ravens fool you. It was wrong to bench Kitna for this assclown. To play devils advocate, I doubt Jason White voted Leinart or Bush in the top 3, but Dwayne Jarrett??
Actually, Jason White told ESPN that he voted for Leinart and Adrian Peterson (he didn't specify what order) and he has also gone on the record to say he did not vote for himself. As someone on a Sooners board pointed out, ethics, morals, and integrity are dead and gone on the Left Coast...
No, but if truth be told, I'll bet most of us would vote for the folks we knew most about. I'm betting CP has had his hands full this season.
No excuse can justify voting all 3 USC players when Dwayne Jarrett has not had a whiff of being mentioned as a candidate. The reasons to hate USC keep on piling up.
