people are freaking out like its a terrible tragedy, but it looks fine. the stone parts are the cool parts. just the wood roof need to be rebuilt. should be an easy and quick fix. at any rate, it seems like it might have been muslims.

Uh, that's because any bit of evidence there might have been was incinerated. This type of investigation is something that requires weeks, if not months to determine a cause. It's laughable that French authorities are putting out comments like the above. It's as likely to be arson as not. I mean I keep seeing the easiest explanation of wooden scaffolding and construction. Okay, well, wood doesn't set itself on fire. What specifically started it? There was an abundance of safety rules in effect for workers in the hope of avoiding what happened yesterday. Somebody made a mistake. Who? How? Until those questions have been answered, arson and terrorism absolutely cannot be ruled out. Of course they won't. That outcome was determined yesterday when they announced before the sun set that it was an accident. 100 firefighters stood outside for almost 2 hours before engaging in any action and we're supposed to believe that a handful of useful idiots with zero access and in less than 24 hours, have already determined the cause as accident?

There is no evidence. It burned the fuck up. At this point, it's 50/50 IMO. To say it was an accident is just as much a rumor.
