I do not like being favored. I don't want the players thinking they can roll. OSU is a very good team and if LSU is flat in the 1st half like they have been many times this year, OSU could pull out a lead in the first half. The Defense has been spotty the 2nd half of the season, granted injuries played a part, but so did Pelini's schemes which didn't work very good in some instances. The Offense has been extremely consistent..............in starting out inconsistent. This worries me too. I would hope the OL can get the running game going early and often to remove some of the pressure from Flynn who struggles in the 1st half occassionally.
Same here. I wince every time I hear something about "OSU is 0-9 against SEC", or anything like that. It's that sports announcer jinx; the minute they say, "Player X hasn't fumbled all year" he fumbles the next play.
Good question!!! I will get all my info together since I am the leader of the crusade and get back to you about that!
One big advantage I don't hear alot is all the close games and come from behind wins we've had this year. Lots of detractors said we underperfomed, but I think if the game is close (don't think it will be) we won't panic. But, it's just as possible to be a VT game.
