THe preview has me pumped... when was the last time that LSU had a higher rating on offense than on defense... QB-8 RB-10 WR-10 OL-9.5 DL-9 LB-8.5 DB-8.5... If the D-line plays as well as they should, with that kind of beef, the speedy linebackers will be untouched as the fly to the ball. The DB's will be fine since they will be playing more zone than man. I noticed Mario Stevenson was left off of there.. is he 4th on the depth chart? I thought he was a solid nickel/swingman ahead of Jackson... guess things can change. With the big line, fast LB's and hard hitting safeties, not to mention Prude who can knock your d*ck in the dirt (one of my favorite old football sayings), this team will rival the 2003 squad in run defense.
This guy has Korte as "the guy to keep an eye on" at RB and as an instant impact player.. Am I the only one who sees this guy as a redshirt? We are a solid 2 deep at FB with HB's to fill-in as well.. I dont think this guy will see the field.
He has Korte as an instant impact player, but doesnt even talk about him in his RB analysis. Wondering what rating other SEC schools have when broken down (hint hint... too lazy to do it myself)
every year lou tepper was here. I think i was the first to bring that up here last year. I continually noticed Kyle was the leader on defense about the first half of the season yet never given the credit since Spears was supposed to be carrying us I suppose. Then Spears turned it on from that point but Kyle played lights out the entire year. I suppose the fact he looks like a goofy overweight white boy out of pads and none of the pedigree as the others, plays into it. But make no mistake, this kid is a terror and deserves all the credit he gets. If he is even better this year, I pity the qb.
good question. i hope he has as good a year as last year at least. due to size/speed constraints I'd guess 3rd.
His view of the o line was good, while the run blocking became more consistent late in the year the pass blocking seemed to be a little off. Will Livings remain at tackle? I think he is better at guard.

A very nice write-up. I just hope that this team is relaxed like he said and doesn't have too much pressure on them. I don't want this season to start like Auburn's did 2 years ago.
