No more "dread locks of doom" bummer. That was one of the cooler nicknames that I have ever heard. :tigereye:

I was under the impression that the Guaranteed money in Football in the early rounds was higher than that of the MLB.

For Example, lets say he is picked in both the 3rd rounds in the NFL and MLB and he had to pick one of them. Which would be higher and which signing bonus is higher?

I had added an article about it to the first post. In it there is a quote from Chad.

Sorry to see him go, but he has to make the decision on what's right for him. Long live the Dreadlocks of Doom be it here or in the NFL:helmet:

I can add some good news though...

I am hearing Sheppard will stay for his senior year but he was very close to declaring so I wouldn't count my chickens yet.

Well that sux... Chad Jones is one of the most amazing athletes in LSU history and his play for both the football team and the baseball team was one of the most amazing things I've ever witnessed by any athlete in my life. But, the point of going to college is to get a job and make money... and that is what Chad is doing. Good luck Chad and thanks for everything!!!!!!!
