1. What is the status on Al Woods. Is he injured waiting on a redshirt year or is he not good enough to play this year?
  2. Woods has played this year.
  3. You will be hearing his name a lot in the future.......kid's going to be an animal. Was one heck of a basketball player at Elton HS too.
  4. So, you knew in advance that Jessie Daniels wasn't playing last week, Craig Davis also? Or when Scott didn't play earlier this season due to the concussion? And that Daniels wasn't playing in the SEC CG last season? I hadn't seen any of those things reported prior to the games and didn't read anything about several other players who did not play in games over the past 2 seasons until after they sat out. I don't have any problem with Miles witholding this info at all, but to say he talks about these injuries and who is going to sit all the time isn't true.
  5. of course. with ab having another year, and knowing what he is capable of, it think he should continue to get touches. while kw and cs have shown flashes, it is not clear that they can perform like ab has in the past. having an '04 ab on the '07 team could be the difference between outback bowl and nc game
  6. And that's what we said about the '03 Vincent. Alley might pick up some confidence, but other than that, sadly, I don't think he'll be anything close to what he was.
  7. true, but ab is solid as is. you arent losing much, if anything, giving him 5 touches/game. they are giving him touches now. do you think the coaches are doing it out of loyalty or for recruiting rep, or do they see his current and future ability?
  8. Some coaches choose to make it public record or not in the NCAA since it isnt required in the league. In the NFL they have rules for listing injuries. I dont mind if Miles list them or not if he sees it being an advantage. There has been many threads discussing this on this board when players dont play who we thought would the past 2 years. Maybe that is what the poster meant.
  9. I can see what you're talking about....and that's a very logical approach to the situation. If you're gonna have a healthy and confident AB next season, you might as well slowly bring up his confidence rather than sitting him the rest of the year.

    Point taken.
