1. We all know Louisiana politics and O is playing this like the old Kingfish. It's not if he is the RIGHT candidate, it's if he is the candidate they like. And right now everybody loves O!

And as soon as Herman is off to Texas, O will be left standing there to be our permanent coach. As long as he is winning and playing competitive, I'm ok with it.

  2. But what if he is winning but loses to Bama?
  3. I worry more about O doing well (not necessarily winning out) and we hire Herman- how that may hurt us. Or would it?

  4. I think more about the body of work. Getting the gators at home helps the resume and if the Tigers look good overall and play hard, O will be the first, second choice.

  5. Right now, if that's the ultimate criteria, few coaches would keep their job. ;)
  6. I don't think it would hurt as long as they actually get Herman. Unless O wins them all, then how could they not hire him? However I don't see any way we win out with this schedule so it gives Alleva the wiggle room needed to make the best choice for LSU.
  7. I repose my question earlier. If the decision is made to take Herman do you guys think O stays on in some capacity or does he says to hell to us?
  8. I don't expect Oeaux and the Tigers to beat Bama this year. Oeaux will definitely get credibility by beating Ole Miss and Ark for a start. Hopefully, he continues the wins against aTm. Florida is 'meh' other than pride, and of course we want LSU to beat the snot out of them as well. Oeaux's here, so mineaswell root for the guy to win.
  9. Miles wasn't interested in winning games anymore. His arrogance was more interested in proving he could win by playing 'his' way of football. That mindset was getting LSU no where, other than consistently beating Miss St, then again he lost in 2014 and barely squeaked out wins last year and this year.
  10. Miles? Who's Mile's?
