1. Strong belongs on the East Coast around Florida. Texas fucked up by not throwing the kitchen sink at Art Briles.

As I said, this is unacceptable at Texas.

  3. You could probably say that about many teams if you happen to know how good their back up qb is, Louisville looked like a pretty complete team to me.

And I think Strong will be able to still recruit in the SE while mining the Texas talent. I know if I were in his shoes I would have accepted the Texas job.
  4. There is so much talent in Texas recruiting wise that I would not be overly concerned as an LSU fan of preventing us from getting talent from there. Mack Brown recruited arguably as well as anyone over the past 15 years (although the last 2 cycles it was waning just a bit).

  5. Imagine if Louisiana had all the talent Texas does, quantity wise. (I know Louisiana per capita has the most talent) But can you imagine how crazy LSU fans would be if LSU lost as many Louisiana guys as Texas loses Texas guys.

When watching the OSU Mizzou game, I bet 70 percent of both rosters were Texas kids.

Just this week, OU's qb, Austin Westlake, last night Saints vs. Eagles, both qb's from Austin Westlake.

  7. Repulsive hire by Texas; more ways than one.
  8. Replusive a bit strong but most assuredly weak hire...for Texas
  9. We all know why Charlie Strong won't fit in at Texas. No need to state it.

  10. Are you implying a racial element?

I just wouldn't hire a guy with little HC experience, that isn't tapped into Texas recruiting.
