Just give CS 5 years, and he'll put a Sly Croom, like he did at Mississippi State.

With Dan Mullen, however, I think Mississippi State learned their lesson.

I think he'll do well at UT... he knows defense, so he'll that unit back to form right away... and he has a good name so he'll recruit well. You'll see a different UT squad next season.

explain what you mean or back up on this.

Charlie Strong is a high character guy and has done a good job at louisville. i've watched him for 4 years and he'll do well at texas. are you upset that he married a white woman?

many do not know that charlie strong was denied head coaching opportunities because of his marriage. jurich gave him the opportunity at louisville....still waiting to hear why this was a "repulsive" hire

I bey you have no proof of that statement...which is why it is so easy to claim and impossible to defend. I think this hire by Texas was a "he is best we can get vs best available"

"Charlie Strong, the African-American defensive coordinator who kept the Sooners far below their 54 points a game average, made an even louder statement when he declared that despite all of his success at Florida, he has been passed over for head coaching positions because of his interracial marriage.
“Everybody always said I didn’t get that job because my wife was white,” Strong told a columnist for the Orlando Sentinel. He added, “If you think about it, a coach is standing up there representing the university. If you’re not strong enough to look through that (interracial marriage) then you have an issue.”

If that happened that's terrible but I too think its impossible to prove unless someone admits it, and I doubt that will ever happen.
