Chavis isn't leaving. All of this talk, which has come from some very bum scoop, is starting to hurt us on the recruiting front. I say again, Chavis isn't leaving. The idiot (not on this site) that started this rumor has nothing to back it up. It's crap and needs to be put to rest.
i didnt hear it personally, so i dont know for a fact, but supposedly donnan brought it up on an atlanta radio show. he didnt say it would happen but it might. i think he may have some inside info since he was the first to know bud foster was thinking about it. evidently he gets contacted by coaches thinking about taking a position at UGA because is not affilitated with UGA but really knows what its like.
I was going to say that the rumors couldn't affect recruiting because Chavis himself could just debunk them before anything happens. When he says "I am not going to be the coach at Georgia." you can take him for his word. Well.....MOST coaches you can believe, some...not so much !! :yelwink2:.
Well, unfortunately, he hasn't come out publically and made that statement. He just made it to Kelvin Sheppard.
