why is it being reported that they are interested in Chavis and Brick?
LSU could get taste of its own medicine if Chavis heads to Georgia - Campus Rivalry: College BCS Football News, Recruiting, Game Picks, and More - USATODAY.com

oh nevermind, say who wrote the article.

    guilbeau.

would be nice for chavis to say he's staying though. especially considering uga is closer to home and he would get to hire at least two of his assistants (which he wasnt able to do at LSU)

Nope, Miles is the man. Wouldn't want Leach for any position above possibly OC. Glad to know that he has the same likes as my 3 kids do. Pirates of the Carribean series is their favorite movies. Although I am sure you were trying to give a little jab there.

If I were a betting man I'd say Chavis is likely leaving. I don't agree with Guilbeau on much but on this subject I do. Reading between the lines on this one I think that Chavis is going to UGA. I think it's as simple as being closer to home for him. I just hope that if he does go to UGA that he doesn't lure Brick Haley away as well.
If Chavis does leave who does Miles pursue as the next LSU D-coordinator? Personally, I like a bit more aggressive style of defense than Chavis' read-and-react style. I just love how past LSU defenses completely destroyed non-mobile quarterbacks and made all QBs nervous wondering where the blitzes were going to come from.

Don't make that bet. Most of the reports that have come out from local area say he is staying.

    Just want to clarify:

The tuckster, does seem to come at issues in a crimson frame of mind.

However it appears the tuckster believes the LSU train is broke, I believe it's still on track and rolling along, just a little off schedule.

With that thought in mind let's play find tuckerman.

If you know, just point :cuss:

Good morning, TUSK. You must be Coach Bryant from the grave. The cagey old Bear would brag on Cholly Mac too and tell everyone who'd listen how lucky LSU was to have him. Of course, he went 15-2 against McClendon so I'm guessing there was a little self interest there. Nice try. :D

Any coach LSU has can leave anytime he gets what he perceives as something better. LSU will get another coach if Chavis leaves. If he stays, Hail to the chief. LSU beat Chavis when he was at Tennessee and we will beat him if goes to GA.
