Well if the VT game is no indication of their ability then how is Michigan's loss yesterday so shocking? Forget last season, this season is here and everyone's had a chance to look at the other guy. Considering all things, aren't you a little more leary of Bama on the road than VaTech at home? Maybe not but I would be. And if you don't see your D's performance against Clara's boys as an indicator of it's strengths then wholy c***, I don't know what it would take. Fast and nasty........even if it was MSU.

Another poster brought up the Pac-10 and their OOC...not me. Then, when I said Vball brought up USC, I was specifically talking about this weekend's games. She DID bring them into that discussion...
Well there you go, I thought you were talking about last year? Enough though. What I do find funny is that USC enters into so many of our discussions here (Understandibly cause #1 and #2 rankings, the history and all) and on their board, it's LSU this, LSU that. I read this a.m. MANY posts there acknowledging that our D looked much better right now. In fairness, some of them criticized stuff like having no sacks........the QB was taking a one step drop and unloading immediately- how can you sack a qb doing that without being offsides? Big Brother's on, gotta go. :thumb:
Oh come on...when I was RANKING VT ahead of NEBRASKA, I said I can only go on last years teams and the prior years, because one week isn't enough to judge from. When I said VBall brought USC into the equation, I was saying that I was comparing VT and Nebraska, and I didn't wanna bring the USC/IDAHO game (this weekend) into the discussion...but since she did... Who's twisting and spinning here? One of us is, anyway.
