Let's hope that Baton Rouge isn't in his gps. Don't need that crap at LSU.

True. But I doubt winning/losing games 52-49 will sit very well with the fan base.

Plus a little finesse Chip Kelly team will never beat a Nick Saban team. And beating Bama will be a HUGE factor in deciding the next ball coach.

I want O. I don't want Kelly. He comes across, at least to me, as a first class A hole.

Winning 52-49 would sit well. Losing by any score would not

If we were in the Big 12 or Pac 12.

We want an offense to compliment a dominating defense. Can Chip Kelly bring that? I'm guessing not.

Why couldn't he? If can bring in a solid DC and get out of the way and worry about O production. Sometimes it's hilarious to even read this board, we want a productive offense but we don't want an over-productive offense that would score TOO much. Maybe the reason there were 52-49 type scores in the PAC 12 is b/c that's the nature of that league just as we are used to 21-17 point games. Jimbo ain't coming to BR, it's time for us fans to be prepared to be excited for option B or C, and hopefully not options D or E...

I think Kelly's biggest issue at Oregon was recruiting undersized guys, who then got pushed around when they played a more physical team. I am not necessarily suggesting that I want him at LSU (I'd rather have Shaw), but I do think, if he were willing to adapt, he could be successful in the SEC.
