My son has always liked the Braves and would taunt me because he knew I hated them, because TBS would televise a Braves game during the Andy Griffith time slot. I’ve mellowed over the years since that time. Does C. Jones still play for them?

It looks as though the Braves are at that championship level again. I’ve noticed they have the best record in BB and clinched the division tonight. How many of those early 90’s pitchers do they still have?

The Braves just won their 12th Division title in a row.

Chipper Jones is doing well as he usually does this time of the year. (.304 102 RBI 26 HR) Only 4 other players in MLB history have had as many 100+ RBI years in a row as he has.

But he is not doing as well as Javy Lopez (.325 104 RBI 41 HR)
or Gary Sheffield (.331 122 RBI 36 HR)

Smoltz and Maddux are still with the team. Maddux should win his 300th game some time next season. If Maddux wins one more game this year he will break Cy Youngs record of 15 consecutive 15 win seasons.

As far as the playoffs go, the Braves will only go as far as their inconsistent Bullpen will take them.

Probably way more than you wanted to know.........
