It will not be as fun beating USC this year, if they make it to the Rose Bowl without Chow being there. Everybody knows he was the brains behind the officens. Even thought they are returning 9 offensive starters they cannot be as successful with out Chow, IMO. "Leinart said if he would have know that Chow was going to leave he would have went into the draft." Per ESPN's Cold Pizza this morning.

Chow is going to Nashville for about $1 Million.

Certainly within the salary range of many college programs to have offered him a HC position.

But at 58, maybe he simply didn't want to mess with the college recruiting trips and related red tape any more.

Don't celebrate just yet - they still have all that talent and the offense returns in tact. Petey might be capable of just keeping the ship on a straight path for one more year without Chow...

I guess you guys haven't read any of the recent articles lately where he stated he wanted a head coaching job but was not offered any except for the UK job 2 years ago. He wanted the Stanford job this year very much.

    Uhhh, what? :hihi:

You have to know basic sports terms and how to spell them. Come on this is a sports forum!

I am actually eager to see how well Chow's system does at the NFL level. Could care less about the USC aspect. :thumb:
