    Hey, Tirk!

Man, I just love that avatar. Can she go out on a date with me?

I think you hit the nail on the head. Landry is just spinning. It's really bayou type shenanigans at its finest. Hell, Les might be behind the whole thing.

Great point.... and good luck making a difference. It is refreshing to see someone going into sports journalism so aware of the issues that frustrate educated sports fans.

This guy calling JaMarcus lazy and "aloof" leads me to believe he has gone about his job that way, as in too lazy to read quotes from coaches and teammates alike, and too aloof to see that JR is a winner, plain and simple. I have never been so excited to see what an LSU player can do on the next level than with JaMarcus, I hope he goes Vince Young on the league and silences the doubters.

I've written columns for The Dallas Morning News. When I had something to say, I could whip out a 900-word column in 20 minutes, but when I had to think of something, it was a struggle.

    Sports journalists are no different.

He has a point about not reading defenses that great. He has gotten better and is more decisive in what WR he needs to go to, but he never makes check offs at the line or audibles. That is either because the coaches don't trust him enough with his reads or he just doesn't see things he should be seeing. I think the mental part of the NFL will be a struggle for him. He has the abilities but I think the cerebral part of the game making audibles and quick decisions will be difficult for him.
