That's how I feel. While I was anxious to know as much as the next person, he should have announced earlier or tomorrow (NFL Sunday), NOT Christmas Day. This is classless, no matter how you slant it.
I agree that this is the best time for Saban in terms of marketability and opportunity. Let's face it, he probably feels like he accomplished his goal at LSU - winning the national championship. This may have made it easier for him to move on. Personally, and opinion is completely subjective, the worst day of the year to make this announcement for Tiger fans is on Christmas. I know in the big scheme of things it doesn't matter which day the announcement actually came. A sting is a sting, but some stings tend feel worse because of aggravating circumstances. This is one of those times, in my humble opinion. Oh well, I guess it is a good Christmas present for Dolphins fans, so hopefully some people are happy. Oh, and Saban just made a ton of bank, so he can't be too unhappy, either. HO HO HO. :angry:
