OL from Texas. Hope this will stick though because he has always liked Texas and Miami but those two have not offered as of yet.

With so few scholarships available, I am not sure why LSU is going after marginal players. They must see something special in these guys. He is huge however, but slow as mud. He won't be used as a pulling guard, that's for sure.

He is a guard. Texass, Ok., and Miami are looking for tackles only this year.

Ciron has camped with LSU for some time now

Dave, you're doing a fantastic job

Ciron (pronounced sear-un) plays for the Lee High Red Raiders in Tyler Texas and has been an LSU lean for some time now. Ciron led the hard charging Raiders to a 10-3 record last year and the quarter finals ... hell he can't score for them ... this is Lee's 7th straight year in the playoffs and is a school that sends recruits to LSU camp. Coach Owens is accessible and supportive of the LSU coaching and staff

Ciron plays OT in high school ... not guard ... but could play anywhere along the line for LSU.

Dave Campbell ... long known for his slick work ... has placed Lee Grimes ahead of Ciron on the first team ... just a little home cooking

Don't read anything into the fact that this kid is the best and FSU was making a big push for him ... all you need to know ... he's top shelf ...

Will come in ... redshirt and develop ... and play/start in his freshmen year

These recruiting services (e.g., Rivals) don't know something that Saban does.

    That's ok with me.

Ramah, do you look for this guy to get his due with the recruiting services before it's all said and done (currently not ranked)?

He's rated 4 stars on theinsiders. I wouldn't call him a marginal player.
