What's the word with your old high-school basketball teammate, RP?

Other boards says he's pissed about being 3rd string to start the fall and wants out..

some say he's a gone no matter what he's telling the press....

Clair, we expect you to get to the bottom of this asap...

he is upset that the coaches are so close-minded about it all and he feels that no matter how good he plays, he will be 3rd string, b/c he has "no experience"

    he isn't going anywhere though

Rivals just ran a story on this tonight. Allegedly RP had a meeting with the coaches about his status with the program.

Rivals talked to RP's HS coach and he seems to think RP is happy.

Perrilloux still hasn't played a single down of college football. He must realize that the veteran quarterbacks are going to go into August at 1 and 2. Perrilloux has earned himself a fair share of snaps and will likely get them early against out-of-conference opponents. This will be his chance to make a statement. He will be paying his dues in a game and then he can put that inexperienced label behind him.

But he must accomplish something real at this level before getting frustrated at the competition. It's only his freshman year for heaven's sake and he'll be getting an opportunity to make his mark just like any other freshman. I hope he makes the most of it because he can't get what he wants by talking. Nor can Les just give him the job. Perrillloux has to take it.

with all of this going on, Perrilloux WILL see some sort of time this year...

Miles wouldn't just let a 5-Star QB go away

Especially considering we don't have another QB on the roster other than him for the future

Someone will be leaving at the end of the year, maybe to go to the NFL or maybe to transfer . . . maybe both. But let's just wait and see how Perrilloux does with his playing time before deciding his chart depth. Honestly, the guy could end up #1, 2, or 3 in September.

If Russel has a great year, he might. Flynn ain't. Can anyone think of a quarterback who left college early and did well in the NFL ? I'm there are some , I just cannot think of any.
