I can see RP coming out late in the ULL game and the crowd going nuts for him.... Any thoughts of leaving may disappear from that moment.
:rofl: this is a joke right? Vick shouldn't even start on his own team... Schab is better and no, that isn't a joke
I think it is critical that RP gets some playing time and experience next year, hopefully after the game is in hand against some strong opponent defense. I don't recall JR nor MF being super in the first few games they were in. No one is immune to mistakes and I believe RP is no exception. I hope any mistakes that he makes may help put him in a better perspective ( humble pie ) and hence learn and gain experience. I am very excited about seeing him as the future QB; but he has got to learn to be patient and be smart about it. I agree with what Red55 said: everyone has got to pay their dues. ________ IOLITE PORTABLE REVIEW
The best thing that could happen to a kid that is impatient and unwilling to wait his turn is to put his feet on the fire. Send him out on the field and call a pass play that the route runs right into the coverage. One of two things will happen. Either it will be intercepted or knocked down, or he is gonna have to make one hell of a decision/play to be successful. Either way the team wins. You humble the guy up a little, or realize you have a guy that can compete if need be.
