1. And it makes no difference what the guy has done the earlier season, game, or play. I still laugh thinking about the cries to bench Herb Tyler or Mauck or Russell. Some folks just think all college QBs should be as mistake-free as Peyton Manning after 5 years with the Colts.
  2. I think those cries kinda died down a bit after that awe-inspiring performance Sparacino turned in against Bama in '96.
  3. Ah good ole Sparacino from Denham Sprangs -- he of the single worst pass in football history -- a simple screen that cleared the sideline, the bench, and the first few rows of seats. Thanks for the memories Sparcy.
  4. Ill give him a pass that night. Our offensive line didnt block a thing. Bama blitzed the whole team all night long.
    that will do it.
  5. I don't know anything about this, as I was 9, but I can tell you that this was one funny post.
  6. ya' killin' me here!

(Sorry, but I still consider myself young...until people post things like this:bncry: )
  7. Yo clair, so are we locked into having that underperforming cracker at QB, or can we get a legit guy in there before VT at least?
  8. wtf?
  9. Shhh...just trying to start a QB controversy for absolutely no reason -- ya know, like every other year. Work with me here crawdaddy.

And btw, good to see the old name back. never could make sense of score
  10. That's what I was thinking. I was in college when that happened.
