First I am glad the fans finally acted with some class on our side. I thought this was a cool statement, and this game we can finally turn the porch light off on Saban vs LSU stuff.... Les Miles is our coach and I wouldnt want anyone else at this point. “The fans here, I have a tremendous amount of respect for. They have tremendous spirit for their school and pride in their state. Certainly, I’ll always remember the special things we were able to accomplish when we were here, and our entire family has a special place in our heart for that,” Saban said.
It always takes some time for any breakup to heal and emotions to smooth. LSU winning certainly helps. My only problem with Saban was the way in which he left; LSU fans deserved better but it's long past.
It's funny, but it really DOES feel like a breakup. I got effed over by this girl that I was madly in love with almost ten years ago, and I'm just now feeling like maybe she's not the devil...she just made bad choices.
