Oh...you were that guy at the party. The same guy that does a beer run and comes back with a 6-pack of O'Douls.

Well hopefully this helps to clear up his character issues, as it does for me. His physical and atheletic attributes have never been questioned as many had him as the #2 and sometimes #1 DT in this draft. He dropped "all the way down" to #5 after the charges and he is clearly trying hard not to become this years Antajj Hawthorne, who dropped down to the Raiders in the 6th round last year.

The important thing is that he is humble and apologetic. A lot of kids in his situation get defensive and act like the world is out to get them (Marcus Vick). He is showing maturity by owning up to it like a man.

Many times it is not the mistakes a man makes but the way he handles the aftermath that defines character.

Character is what you do when no one is watching.

I heard Schlereth say a good one about character the other day. Apparently, this saying is on the wall in the Broncos' locker room:

'You can judge a man's character by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.'

thats my broncos, the best franchise around...it is really a sad thing about the league if it actually raises stock somewhat to get caught and handle it a certain way.
