    Good grief.

It's definitely in his head if it wasn't before.

21-3 1.77 ERA in the regular season.

Dodgers score 6 runs for him tonight (off Wainwright, no less), yet they are in jeopardy of going down 1-0 in the series.

    Regular season 98-49 2.48 era.
    Playoffs 1-4 5.20 era.

I may have to apologize to Peyton Manning.

Kershaw now 1-5, with an ERA still north of 5.

He'd be better if he didn't have to play my St. Louis Cards

Fuckin' right. Plus, the $235million team could only muster up 2 runs of support for the guy that makes $10,000 per pitch.

But the point remains. The Cards are a fucking buzzsaw in the postseason.

He did great for the first 6 innings. I don't fault Mattingly for starting him, but he should have had somebody ready in the pen for when Kershaw showed the first signs of slipping. The Cards' rally happened very quickly, so skipper should have been better prepared. But the Dodgers' bullpen sucks, so I don't know that it would have mattered.

he gave up 1 hit til the 7th and in fact struck out the side in the 6th. then an infield single, a bloop and a blast and that was that. he wasnt in any trouble but it was done in a blink of an eye with some bad luck and timing.

kershaw is simply snake bit. hes pitched a lot of postseason games but a couple of blowups skews his numbers. and st louis is the best culture for baseball there is. they just plug and play players. as skip would say, they have good baseball fortune.

Kinda reminds me of Nolan Ryan. Ryan would give up 2 hits and strike out 15 and lose 1-0
