OK, I would say the rumors have reached a fever pitch. The Lafayette Daily Advertiser is now soliciting for info. I can’t remember ever having seen a local paper do anything quite like that before for what is more a sports related rumor than anything else. The Advertiser is following lead on arrest of LSU's Ryan Perrilloux The entire article contains: "Based on activity on the Sports Forum on theadvertiser.com and reports to reporter Glenn Guilbeau, we are following a lead that the Tigers' backup quarterback was arrested Tuesday. Perrilloux is a freshman from EastSt. JohnHigh School in Reserve. If any readers have information or knowledge of the arrest, they are encouraged to call the Advertiser Sports Department at 337-289-6303."
That is frickin' pathetic! As a future member of the media, it sure as hell makes me re-think my career choice. Report the news, dammit! Don't make it.
The Dailly Fertilizer is nothing more than a mouthpiece and apologist for that loser of a program at Southwest Louisiana Institute of Southwestern Louisiana at Lafayette and Grill. Like many SLISLLG fans, anything bad about LSU is automatically good for them.
