Clemson University decides to forego any bowl game

    From what I'm reading the ACC stepped in regarding Clemson. Not sure about the Coots though.

    Clemson officials said explicitly that this was a Clemson University decision and that the ACC was supportive.

    So if Clemson is 9-2 and going to a new year's day bowl, does the university do the same thing?

    Wow this is great. I had thought about it while watching Holtz and Bowden's press conferences, saying to myself "if they had any integrity they'd forfeit their bowl game"...but I never thought the University would allow the team to miss out on a payday. I can't believe one of the schools did it, much less both of them - but it is very welcome news.
