He's got one of the 5 best jobs in college football. He's making enough money where I suspect he's set for his life and his kids lives as well. Unless he wants to scratch that NFL itch one more time, I just don't see him leaving for the NFL. And one final thing. A lot of his coaching techniques and methods work well at the collegiate level. I'm not sure he would have the same success using them in the NFL.
He said as much after his stint in the NFL and I said as much prior to it. That said, he's got to be looking at Carroll and Harbaugh and thinking that he can best them. I don't think he leaves, either, but I never thought he was stupid enough to leave LSU in the first place. Besides, I just like to fan the flames a bit...make the turd fans squirm.
Yea, but they're coaching teams in the playoffs. Unless Nick took the Bears job the only playoffs he would see would be watching them on TV with you and me.
