There was a rumor going around that Parcells contacted Jake Delhomme shortly after he took the head coach job. Did you hear anything along those lines?
I listen to Dallas Ft/Worth sports talk radio all day. I never heard anything like that, but that is not to say it is not true. There has been little out of the Dallas camp since Parcells, he has upset much of the media, he has banned his asst. coaches from talking to the media and limited their access.
Thanks. Apparently Parcells overvalues his importance to the community. Coaches should realize that Pro sports teams raison d'etre is entertainment, that is, to entertain the general public. Without the "audience" there would be no professional sports. Yet, the coaches act like they are entrusted with national security.
