1. Miles certainly does not blow out either Ole Miss or Arkansas. So Eaux has already proven to be a way better coach than Leslie, given the exact same talent being used.
  2. With very little change to the playbook at that. I think a lot of it has to do with the practice. Everyone seems fresh on game day.

  3. Food for thought, had the officials correctly called Bama for holding on their lone TD vs LSU, and LSU gone on to a 3-0 win, the college football playoffs tomorrow would have yielded:

    1. Alabama
    2. Ohio State
    3. Louisville
    4. LSU
    5. Michigan
    6. Clemson
    7. Wisconsin
    8. Penn State
    9. Washington
    10. Texas A&M

LSU would have been ranked 7th before the Arkansas game.
  4. Of course, we have no chance at the playoffs. But who can argue we're not one of the 4 best teams if we run the table going forward. And who knows what would've happened against Alabama if we would've had the kind of quality OC we'll be capable of having next year already in place. Alleva and crew have to be looking at whats happening here and kicking themselves in the ass for not taking care of business last season.

  5. Sort of. If Les is fired last year there's no chance O gets the job.

  6. I'm not talking about Coach O. I'm talking about the team we have and perhaps having an offense installed that allows the talent be on full display. No more, no less/Les.

  7. Who do you have in mind for OC?
  8. So you think even if O hires a top notch OC and gives him complete control that the offense will still be limited because O is a defensive coach? That doesn't make sense does it? Isn't Bill Belichick a defensive coach? Doesn't New England have a quality offense? I'd like to hear him speak about what moves he would make in the off season and what type offense he would prefer, but I don't think because he's a defensive coach that he can't build a quality modern age offense.

  9. AAAAHHHH I think Saban is also a defensive coach, how's that working out for Bama these days? I am with you TwistedTiger downthebayou is wrong

  10. Coach O is growing on me. I'd like to see us move to more of a spread offense. That is what seems to give Bama and little Nicky the most trouble. As long as we have Aranda no one will be scoring too many points against us.
