you can bet the feds have already checked timestamps of when the info was released corresponding with any significant line movement on eATMe's games.

Im not sure how he can pretend this was not ill-conceived initially. Regardless how it came to light, it looks bad all around even if not the intent.

They are in need of some serious house cleaning. Maybe there's a good explanation, but if there is it better hit the streets soon.

That question crossed my mind a few hours ago...this is directly from his contract.

Look at the bottom of page 2, top of page 3 (sect. 2.1-2.5). The top of page 7 refers back to sections 2.1 to 2.5. Then page 8 (sect. 5.2)

In a nutshell, if he does something that sheds the aTm in a bad light, they can fire him and don't owe him a penny.

Here's the link to his contract, plus just about everyone else in football.

I wonder if Coach Fran gives people constant negative reputation just for posting from a rival team's perspective.

They'd know if he did cause they pay for access to his site.

I gave you some for being dishonest with our members, if you want some more, keep complaining about it.

If you want to hang around here and discuss football, be real, and substantiate your posts with factual support, not subjective opinions- it's a "New beginning" of sorts. :)

A bit more on the subject this morning...then, I'll leave Fran to OU.

    More on HIPPA:

Wrongful disclosure of individually identifiable health information:

    * Wrongful disclosure offense: $50,000 penalty, imprisonment of not more than one year, or both.
    * Offense under false pretenses: $100,000 penalty, imprisonment of not more than five years or both.
    * Offense with intent to sell information: $250,000 penalty, imprisonment of not more than 10 years or both.

It also appears there might be an NCAA infraction:

11.3.2.4 Noninstitutional Publications That Report on Athletics Program.
Athletics department staff members shall not endorse (either orally or in writing) any noninstitutional publication dedicated primarily to reporting on an institution's athletics activities, except as provided in this section, and shall not write for such publications. (Adopted: 1/16/93; Revised: 1/11/94, 4/26/01 effective 8/1/01)

    11.3.2.4.1 Educational Articles.
Athletics department staff members may write educational articles related to NCAA rules and crowd control for noninstitutional publications dedicated primarily to reporting on an institution's athletics activities. (Adopted: 1/11/94)

The Houston Chronicle has an interesing follow-up on this story. Pretty interesting quote by their AD too:

Texas A&M athletic director Bill Byrne opened his weekly online column Wednesday with a quote: "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
