I wonder if that was after the 1994 regional title game. That was one intense, hot as hell game. And make no mistake, as I was in the stands that day, we were unmerciful to USC. I remember that Boone kid hitting a homerun and flipping off the crowd as he rounded third. He was then pummeled with hot dogs and drinks. Ah, good times...
If anything, atleast beat the snot out of them so we don't have to hear Jim Rome talk his pig latin BS...
i have that ball. nope you're correct. its a pretty bad position she's taken here. ill allow a free pass on occasion i suppose. looks like contained chaos will not. the coach's comments in context or not are offbase and wrong. no two ways about it.
It's not about taking it out of context. He insulted us after complimenting us. It's like telling a girl how pretty her hair and makeup is, and then at the end saying her ass is too big. Umm, I don't think you would walk away thinking you had been complimented. It's not our fault that he chose some harsh words to describe our fanbase. He also compliments our energy and spirit based on the actions of a large group of fans, but then apparently negatively characterizes the whole fanbase on the actions of one. Who is taking things out of context here? If you really want to insult a southerner, suggest he thinks the Civil War is not over. That insinuates so many things all at once. This coach chose his words(not carefully) and he should not be surprised when that has ramifications. In this case, an extraordinarily motivated crowd. He did his boys no favors...
he certainly did not do any favors to his boyz. also his so-called compliments are akin to that of characterisitics of a controlled riot. not really complimentary beyond raucous actually. its clear where he stands. no biggie. bring it on bitches. im filling my ziplocs with piss as we speak.
I wonder if he is realizing this about right now. He's going to get a huge boo from the LSU fans, of course, but we must treat his team royally, like long lost cousins. Not only insult him back, but also make a fool out of him and his remarks. Ask for their autographs, give them a hand when they make an impressive play, serve them some food outside the game. The regular stuff. But hisssssss every time their coach steps on the field. Damn yankee . . .
i can guarantee you this isnt happening unless someone pitches a perfect game. they can get food. he cannot. he created a crazy storm for his girls.
