    Saban announced he was the new Bama coach on Jan 3 (and on Jan 4 his plane landed in Bama where he was cheered by hundreds of Bama fans). LSU played Ohio State on Jan 7. Not even close.

    As for LSU, we play GT on Dec 31, while Bama plays on Jan 2, Texas plays on Jan 5, and Florida plays on Jan 8.

    A lot of people have been talking about how LSU plans to officially announce our new coaches on day that well help steal the spotlight from one of our major recruiting rivals, especially being that we are entering the home stretch in recruiting.
