The phrase counting your chickens before they hatch comes to mind.

Never believe anything until the contract is signed.

On the flip side we can go back to making fun of coach yaw yaw again.

Well, maybe, but it may have been more spontaneous than that. He told BHebert that he woke up planning on joining LSU, then Kiffen, et al came and basically convinced in he needs to be at UT and made a sweeter offer. He also felt, like you say, that he had more security there with more chance to become DC sooner since the elder Kiffen is in his 60s.

Kind of like his college career, eh? He signed to play at LSU and transferred to Northwestern after a single practice. Why does he have such a distaste for LSU?

He slights LSU again? Damn I was just thinking how awesome it would be to have him. If was about money, does he thinks that he sh!ts gold? Assitant coaches don't make a million a year.

This is the Huizenga/Saban saga all over again.

Saban turned down the job but Huizenga wouldn't take no for an answer.

Easy come, easy go. LSU will be fine in the end.

Now just close the brders of LA to him and when he crosses the state line have our troopers escort him back over.

Or pull out that old law of Huey's about needing to dip all livestock for ticks.
