Footballcoachscoop.com says Larry Porter hired Coach Stud to be the OC at Memphis.

DandyDon also had it in his report this morning.

Hard to get bummed about losing a guy whose offensive line performed rather poorly this past year.

I hope this is true. Studrawa was the one coach I really wanted to see gone.

As the RB coach you would think that Porter knows who can coach or not.
At least I would think so.

Stud was an OC before he came here right? Maybe thats his forte and he'll have that role in Memphis?

He's trying to build his first staff as a head coach. He knows the coaches he's worked with, so it's logical that he would hire some LSU men if he can.

I'm sure that Miles isn't too broken up about it, and besides, while Stud's line underperformed this year, perhaps he'll do fine in a mid-major conference, instead of the SEC.

Wonder if Porter is trying to do Miles or LSU a favor by getting Stud out of his hair?
