He won NC at Miami as an assistant, but never as a head coach. He left for the Cleveland job the year Miami beat Nebraska. Larry Coker was the coach in that game.
It will be even more interesting to see who will consider coaching Illinois. I don't think top notch coaches will be lining up to take over that train wreck.
Actually they have 1 loss to Miami... and Florida is looking hard at Bobby Petrino to take over their program. If Petrino leaves Louisville for Florida they will have an opening at head coach.
duh, I missed the part about Petrino leaving in his original post. and yes they have a loss...thanks KTeam.
In case anyone was needing a good laugh this afternoon, I just checked out an ole miss board to see what they said about Cutcliffe's status. Nothing really, but a couple of guys said they should go after Butch Davis or Romeo Crennel.
If Louisville hires Dumbo they may win 1 game, but I doubt it! Now, on the flip-side, I would like to see what 'lil Dooley can do as an OC.
Meyer has an "out" in his contract if ND, Ohio State or Michigan calls....... Turns out Lloyd Carr is gunna step down after the Rose Bowl for health reasons. The Florida fans are going to be pissed!
If it's on the internet it must be true, huh? LOLOL You'll have to call Ohio to get the details. That's the word. My friend lives in Columbus but hates Ohio State. He's a big LSU fan and pulls for Michigan because he has to live with those Suckeyes. One of his friends was the source (lives in Michigan/Big Blue fan) BTW, most Michigan fans are ready for a change up there.
