At the news briefing this morning the soldier announcing about operations in Iraq said that the new leader was in Afghanistan until the fall of the Taliban then he had fled to Iraq and thats where Zaqawi was waiting. also it looks like the beginning of the end for Al Quada in and the terrorists in Iraq, not insurgents btw.
