I remember Herbstreit saying in 2003 how USC was the real Nationl Champ and we were #2. Then in 2007 he thought USC, Oklahoma or even VT(who we destroyed earlier in the year) deserved to be in the NCG over LSU. He's very anti-LSU for the most part. He did pick us to beat Ohio State(his alma matter mind you) in the BCS title game(2007), though.
