    More moves, more moves.

The sought after Winthrop coach, Greg Marshall, now fills in for Mark Turgeon at Wichita State.

and, former Michigan coach, Tommy Amaker, goes to Harvard  .

The next time a Brady-hater is calling for a Coach K disciple, let's just remember that Tommy Amaker never took Michigan to a NCAA tournament, and his best showing was a year when he went to the NIT. Funny thing is that actually most Coach K disciples haven't done that great... Snyder, Amaker, and Capel. Capel is arguably the best and he has yet to do anything at Oklahoma.

As for a good summary of what's happened so far, here's Andy Katz's take. There are certainly the schools who make the change b/c they have to and b/c they just want a change--only time will tell if the changes make a difference in the schools' fates.

So, not Karl Malone to LA Tech, but Nikita Johnson. So, who's going to fill LSU's coaching vacancy. I just love what bringing a Randy Livingston to LSU could do for our program.

Randy was voted the D-League MVP, led the Idaho Stampede to the No.1 seed in the West, and led the D-league in assists. Watch the videos... may not be available too much longer, folks.

As for coaching moves, we're in the lower-tier and sub-tier.

What's interesting about this news, is that Princeton goes after their former Princeton head coaches assistant. Could JTIII become of the coaching greats?

And, the other thing to note is the "assistant" market may also be opening up. We've got a lot of new head coaches looking to fill out their staffs. LSU, is now among those looking for good young coaching talent, on the men's and women's sides.

Rob Evans, a former head coach in the SEC, has joined Pelphry at Arkansas, as an assistant coach. Oh, how the world turns... Who's Brady going to land?

Perhaps this is a wrap up. Found this Rivals' article posted recently:

    http://collegebasketball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=668041

Seems like in the SEC, it's the "old guard" of Billy D, CJB, Gottfried and Stansbury (perhaps throw Stallings in there too), who will have to hold off the young guns.

Not sure what this means other than in today's game, coaches move around (or have to move) a lot more. And right now, we're seeing the "establishment" of coaches in the big leagues shifting over. In some cases, it plays out well, in others it doesn't. It seems as though in early rags, CJB is on a "lukewarm" hot seat. I've seen some rags already annointing LSU a "sleeper" pick... We'll see.
