    Not so fast

I doubt if this kid would have LSU as one of his finalist if LSU was not recruiting him.

Maybe alaman thinks we have Perilloux in the bag. I think we do.

we are recruiting him and we are one of his favorites at this point and he needs to decide soon
one thing that is good about it is that it gives RP something to think about and start to think about how he wants to play the recruiting game now that their is another major prospect on the board

I would love to get this kid. Plus he would be a mid-semester enrollee, just a little more competition in spring ball is good for everyone.

I'd like to have Portis and we have already offered him. Some reason I don't like our chances though.

LSU could get 'em both ... and Nick will take both ... gladly

Portis is 6' 4", 195 with quickness and Randall-type speed (4.5) for the SEC game. He doesn't possess the physical strength or size needed for SEC play ... yet ... he's a two-year project at best ... but sign him up anyway ... we can never have too many good QBs

He has very good field vision and is one helluva athlete ... but not as good as Perriloux ...

Saban will not turn this kid down ... even if Perriloux commits ... LSU is scheduled for an official visit this weekend from Perriloux (as if Perriloux ever needed to make one with all the LSU camps, practices and games he has attended). Can LSU get both and will this kid sign if he knows Perriloux will pull the trigger for LSU ... Man ... I hope so ...

I am expecting some big news this weekend ... good news :thumb:

Santa ... all I want for X-mas is a Ryan Perriloux committment ... AND
