Comments on Field Turf at TS in 2006

    You are wrong as usual ramah, there are numerous studies that compare grass to field turf, and minor and major (career threatening) injuries are running at the same rate in all the unbiased ones. I don't care though, I prefer grass but would take ft...I just wanted to add some perspective to this thread - and that perspective is what we want doesn't matter - even people with world class glass fish collections. Everything else you said is a repeat of what I posted, just with fake emotion and more rabble rabble in it.

    West Monroe H.S. has field turf. The biggest reason they went that route was cost, but it's had no effect on their program.

    why have the chance for the field to even play a part in the outcome of a game(ie muddy, wet). put in the field turf

    muddy & wet fields affect both teams. :thumb:
