LSU may play 6 or 7 true Freshman as well. Les plays his best players. DT Freak Johnson, OG La'el Collins, WR Odell Beckham, ATH Terrance Magee, and maybe a handfull of others. Like you, we've heard nothing but good things about these guys and I'm excited to see what they can do.
I was thinking around 40% until this post. I don't know a whole lot about UO's team, and we do have a lot of distractions. Chavis tends to lay back and play for 3rd down. If he does this, UO will take us to the wood shed. Lee must be the good Lee, not the deer in the headlights Lee. UO seems to have more inexperienced players starting than us and have had their distractions as well. All of that considered, I think it's a toss up.
I probably would have voted somewhere in between 50% and 75%, but since that wasn't an option, I went with 75%.
I chose a 50% chance the Tigers will win. It should be a good close game and both teams are closely matched.:geauxtige On SportNation, the rest of the country isn't really giving LSU much of a chance. ESPN.com Poll Results by State
I always like looking at ESPN polls, of course they're ridiculously unscientific. Mostly this one shows how the media lead Americans around like a bull with a ring in it's nose. Very surprised it's so lopsided, Louisiana does love it's Tigers though.
50/50 LSU's O is uh,,,, ????? D is always good given a decent O to help them out. 3 and outs will kill LSU in the 4th just like at AU and ARK......
That would make it good locker room material. The key is that the offense has to keep on playing prolific ball control offense for 60 mins, and not give the ducks any breathing room.
Yes sir , Duck, we do love out tigers. We have been raised by our mothers, fathers and grandparents from birth to love them tigers. Football is almost like a religion here in the south. From Florida to Kentucky down to Louisiana and Alabama , we live football. We have our football board rolling all year long. We believe in our boys. Most of our team is born and raised Louisiana kids. We believe in coach miles. He wins. He is a winner. Lsu wins alot. We play big games like this all year. In a few weeks we will play defending champs- auburn. Alabama is right around the corner. Florida will be exciting this year. We will be visiting wvu on a road trip. We play big games like this all the time and we usually win. We have every right to feel confident. Les Miles wins non conference games all the time. We always start out undefeated. We are confident. We know the ducks are great. We're used to beating great teams. That's what we do. Were LSU. What else would should we expect?
It won't let me rep you, yet! Dammit, man, slow down with the good stuff! This post makes me want to hit somebody!! AAAAAAHHHHHH! (okay, I'll settle down now.)
