I haven't posted as often as I used to, but many of you know how much I like LSU and their fans with my family ties to the school and Louisiana. Unfortunately, as a fan of good college football, I cannot accept this sham of a matchup. In my mind, LSU is the national champion, and whatever happens in New Orleans is simply an exhibition between a team that worked hard to earn their stripes, and another that came in through the back door. Even if that other school somehow managed to beat LSU (which they won't because they can't kick worth a crap and LSU absolutely OWNS the Superdome)... That's just a 1-1 tie that solves nothing. So, congratulations! LSU has earned it.
Thanks Man, Alabama should be playing Okie State for a right to play us at the very least. I totally agree with your post.
The only way it would not be over is if T Boone got with Jerry Jones and paid LSU to play OSU in the JerryDome at the same time as the BCS game with the broadcast rights given to Fox.
Thanks! I appreciate the post. I'd also like to extend my sympathy towards the PSU fanbase. Not to be confused with the parties who ARE guilty of the awful things that happened, but I'm specifically talking about the fanbase and the players themselves: 2 sets of people that did nothing wrong while those that lead them did...or turned a blind eye on.
Appreciate the post, thanks. I agree that it is a sham and am very unhappy with the matchup. This is not an attack on LSU and we will need to remember this no matter where it comes from. The articles are already coming out. It's a condemnation of the BCS and to a lesser extent Alabama and/or the SEC. I can live with the criticism.
