Didn't the midget win a championship in '03 with another coaches players? Funny how that shit works out. I don't what coach wins a championship, or which coach recruited those kids for that team... it's the coach THAT season that coached them to a championship.
The most ludicrous thing of all is our fans, LSU fans (supposedly), who act like our '07 NC is somehow "fake." Holy crap--we've won THREE football NCs ever, and because some stubborn boneheads (who call our coach stubborn, ironically enough) hate Miles, they discount and almost don't even claim that championship. I mean, it's not like it was even a split title that time....
I'm sorry, I got carried away. I was intending to keep this out of this thread. Great accomplishment for Miles despite any complaints. All coaches have their flaws. I bet Miles would appreciate you sticking up for him and look at me like a wart.
Shula deserves a piece of Nick's championship then and Zook deserves a piece of Meyer's. Would Urban Meyer even be considered a top flight coach had Tebow decided to go save African Ebola kids and not played for him at UF?
