Our Defense couldn't have been any better. It will be interesting to see how many td's we give up this year. They played their hearts out!
I don't think anyone on this board is down on the defense.Everyone who saw the game saw the sacks and how they held IRONS most of the time. The defense was on the field too long the entire game. They got tired. They are mortal. Our offense and playcalling sucked. Enuf said, except for the outlaw officiating. Thats ok, payback is a MF.
We have the best defense in the country. They weren't the problem in this game. Our lack of a solid running attack and horrid officiating cost us the game.
I really think that if our defense continues to play like this they will be better than our defense in the Natl. Champ. year. I just dont know if our offense will be as good when we play in the tough SEC road games. I predicted 10-2 this year and i am sticking by it. This is a very good team we lost too but our defense really did play great.
