Agreed. A DESIGNED QB bootleg/draw with JR was something that I don't think ANYONE could have predicted! TOTALLY caught me by surprise I can tell you that much! After that play, the Vol fan sitting beside my wife and I during the game turns to me and says, "Man Russell can run--and he's hard to bring down." I couldn't contain myself--I had to tell him how LSU fans consider JR anything BUT a runner!
Good point.... Even the announcer commented positively on the fact he'd never seen that. I saw some creativity too. Very happy for Miles and team- especially JR. I feel bad for saying this cause I like the kid but I didn't think JVincent should have been in game (at least that one). He can get some playing time in mop up this weekend against Bama. He just hasn't shown me anything to believe he's back.
But in fairness to JV, that was a clutch first down he made on the drive where KW ended up scoring. Still, yes, I cringed when I would see him in the backfield.
