Correct me if I'm wrong: LSU hasn't been ranked #1

    You know.........Being an LSU fan, especially a fan in the 80's and 90's, makes you old before your time.........No?

    We were #2 in the BCS rankings prior to the national Championship game:crystal: .
    After we put it to Oklahomo then we moved up to #1 in the BCS! So to answer your question no we have not seen number 1 in the regular season since November 2 1959 when Tennessee beat us 13-14!

    Actually, the Tigers were #1 until November 08, 1959. The Tenn game was on Nov 07, the new rankings would have come out the following Monday on Nov 09. :)

    Who and when was the last SEC team to be a regular season #1?

    It was Florida in the Oct. 07 2001 Poll! They Lost to Auburn 23-20 that week and dropped to 7th.

    number one in my heart and who cares what everyone else thinks. They have always been number one imo.

    No. The only consensus #2 ranked team after the regular season was LSU.
